This body of work explores the intricate themes of love, sex, and relationships, inspired by my personal experiences while living in multi-ethnic London and being immersed in an abusive love relationship.
 
The project organically evolved through encounters with strangers—each meeting involving interviews and intimate portraits—to delve into the complexity of human connections. I invite viewers to reflect on the nuanced dynamics of love and intimacy, encouraging introspection into their own relationships, self-love, societal expectations, and personal fears.To evoke a timeless and intimate aesthetic, I chose the medium format Mamiya 6x7 camera paired with Ilford black-and-white film. This deliberate choice enhances the tactile and emotional depth of the imagery, enabling a connection that transcends time.
